Cancellation Policy

Speaking Engagements & Booking Policy for LCGE [booking] Speaking engagements include teaching, training, preaching, and events. Booking requests may be submitted through the website or by email; submitting a request does not guarantee an engagement. • An engagement is tentative until reviewed. • An engagement is confirmed only after: – A confirmation email is sent from an LCGE administrator, and – Required agreement and honorarium arrangements are completed. [honorarium & payment] An honorarium is required for all teaching, training, speaking, mentoring, and preaching. • The amount will be agreed upon in advance. • The honorarium must be paid in full before the event date, according to the instructions in the confirmation email. [travel & lodging] For out-of-town engagements: • The host is responsible for lodging in a 3-star hotel or higher in a safe, quiet area. • Lodging should cover the full duration of the ministry assignment, including arrival and departure days. • A meal stipend or agreed meal arrangement is to be provided for the stay. • Additional travel details (ground transportation, airport pickup, etc.) will be clarified prior to confirmation. LCGE reviews availability, assignment fit, and logistics. 3. A confirmation email is sent outlining: • Engagement date(s) and time(s) • Honorarium and financial arrangements • Travel and lodging details (if applicable) • Additional requirements, if any 4. Honorarium and any agreed travel arrangements are completed. 5. Engagement is marked as confirmed. Until step 4 is complete, the date is not formally held. [cancellation policy] These terms apply to all confirmed ministry-related engagements: • Cancellations 24 hours or less before the scheduled start time: 100% of the honorarium is due. • Cancellations more than 24 hours but less than 48 hours before the start time: 50% is due. • Cancellations 72 hours or more before the scheduled start time: 25% is due. • Cancellations more than 48 hours but less than 72 hours before the start time may be evaluated at the ministry’s discretion, and a partial fee may still apply. These terms apply regardless of the reason for cancellation, except in rare, extreme circumstances defined and approved by LCGE leadership.
