The EPUB file is the ebook version. It adjusts to any screen size, which makes it the most comfortable reading experience on a phone or tablet.
iPhone or iPad
- Tap the EPUB file in your email.
- Tap the share icon (the box with an arrow pointing up).
- Select "Copy to Books" or "Open in Books."
- Apple Books will open automatically and your book will be saved to your library.
Apple Books comes pre-installed on all iPhones and iPads. You do not need to download anything.
Android Phone or Tablet
- Download the free Google Play Books app from the Google Play Store if you do not already have it.
- Open your email and tap the EPUB file attachment.
- Select "Open with Google Play Books."
- Your book will be saved to your library automatically.
Kindle Device (Paperwhite, Oasis, etc.)
Kindle devices do not open EPUB files directly. You have two easy options:
- Read on the free Kindle app instead (available on iPhone and Android) using the steps above.
- Or use Amazon's free "Send to Kindle" tool: go to amazon.com/sendtokindle, upload your EPUB file, and Amazon will convert and deliver it to your Kindle device automatically.
The Send to Kindle method works beautifully and takes less than five minutes.
Computer (Mac or Windows)
- Download the free Adobe Digital Editions application at adobe.com/digitaleditions.
- Once installed, double-click the EPUB file and it will open automatically.
Step 3: Opening Your PDF File
The PDF version looks exactly like the designed layout of the book and is ideal if you prefer reading on a computer, want to print pages, or like a fixed visual format.

- Double-click the PDF file and it will open in your default PDF reader.
- If you do not have one, download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader at adobe.com.
